Qualifications for Donations from Reboot Recycled computer equipment is redistributed by Reboot with only a nominal charge to qualified individuals and non-profit organizations (especially educational, religion-based or other charitable groups), see MAR Fee. Reboot helps religious organizations, schools, senior centers, and other groups that work with low and moderate income families, and other needy, local clients. Each prospective organizational receipient needs to be a local, non-profit group that provides to Reboot a current 501(c)(3) acknowledgement from the IRS designating the receipient group as a non-profit organization. If your local non-profit organization wishes to propose individuals to receive systems from Reboot, your organization must apply for authorization to become an Official Reboot Referrer. Reboot requires an original 501(c)(3) approval from the Internal Revenue Service and disclosure of details of your organization such as the number of employees, your mission statement, specific types of services provided, the number of persons served, and the geographic areas in which services are offered. Contact Reboot for details before submitting your application E-mail Reboot. Individual referrals will not be accepted until your organization is approved as an Offical Reboot Referrer. Prospective individual receipients must bring all four of the the following eligibility items to their Reboot pickup: Note that proof of Medicaid, Food Stamps or Free Student Lunch eligibilty is not acceptable.
